Heath was also a valuable contributor to the Rebel Rising squad during the year, and competed in their successful head-to-head victory over the Western Force A side. Before joining the Rebels, Heath had spent his Rugby Union career in Queensland. He was a fixture for the University of Queensland Red Heavies, where his performances earned him the opportunity to train with the Queensland Reds. He now represents Eastern Suburbs in Sydney’s Shute Shield. Heath’s lineout throwing accuracy holds him in high regard at the Rebels, while his infectious personality and enthusiasm have made him a favourite around the camp. As well as his skills as a Hooker, Heath has also played first grade rugby as a Loosehead Prop.
