The Melbourne Rebels are delighted to announce the extension for a further three years PFD Food Services as a major partner of the Club and the principal supporter of the Rebels coaching staff for the 2019, 2020 and 2021 Super Rugby seasons.

PFD Food Services are proudly Victorian founded, owned and headquartered; and are Australia’s leading food services and distribution company, delivering to thousands of corporate, hospitality, education and retail food businesses all across Australia each day.

There are now 70 PFD Food Service branches nationally and 3,000 staff.

Melbourne Rebels Chief Executive Officer, Baden Stephenson, said:

“PFD Food Services have been such a great supporter of ours since we first formalised our relationship in 2016 and we are looking forward to continuing to strengthen our partnership in years to come.”

“We talk a lot within our Club about betterment and seizing opportunities that present themselves. We know that Richard Smith started working with PFD as a driver and is now the Executive Chairman that has overseen their national growth into an industry leader. It is inspiring for us to have such a close connection with a great example for all in our Club to aspire to.”

“We are really proud of the on-field momentum that our coaches and players are creating, and equally we are beginning to deliver business-to-business outcomes off the field which is a testament to our connectivity and growing influence within corporate Melbourne.”

PFD Chief Executive Officer, Kerry Smith, said:

“Our partnership with the Melbourne Rebels is centred on their coaching staff and resonates with our focus on continuous improvement of our people and our processes. They are committed to making their fans and customers proud, and that definitely resonates with us.”
